HD Steering Linkage

As our customers move to larger tires and more tougher terrain, the stock steering linkage takes a real beating.  So we offer heavy duty tie rods and draglinks to keep your steering straight.  All of our tubes are thick wall DOM tubing reamed for a precise thread fit rather than using thinner wall tubing with variable inside diameters.  You'll also notice we don't sleeve and weld our tie rods but rather use a single heavy wall tube for consistent, superior strength.

We have 3 different sizes of beefy DOM tubing available to fit just what you need. They are:

• 1 1/8" x .219 wall - Ideal for tight clearance applications with plenty of strength but smaller diameter.  Available threaded 3/4" fine thread for Heim joint applications or 7/8" fine thread for standard tie rod or draglink end applications.  We've used this tube size with Heim joints to fit between the leaf spring and the knuckle arm on D44 axles.

• 1 1/4" x .250 wall - Our standard heavy duty size, very stiff and strong but will still give a little if you really smack it hard.  Only available in 7/8" thread for Heim joints or tie rod ends.

• 1 1/2" x .375 wall - No holds barred, the king of beef, super strong.  You'll probably rip the arms off your knuckles before this tube bends.  If you want strength closer to that of your axle housing than a typical tie rod, this is for you.  Only available in 7/8" thread for Heim joints or tie rod ends.
