Black Truck ORD Parts List
We are often asked "What parts should I use to build my truck?"
What better way to answer this question than to show a parts list on our personal rigs!

The Black truck is a great all around shop truck. Used as a daily driver and weekend camp rig. It is often fitted with an ARB roof tent and Refrigerator for overland adventures. Sporting one ton axles with selectable lockers makes it ready for any trail
Our 2004 Sierra 2500 is running our SAS kit to get a burly Kingpin Dana 60 under it. With the ARB lockers front and rear it can climb over any obstacle. With selectable lockers the daily commute is great as the lockers are unnoticeable turned off. Topped off with some Yukon hardcore locking hubs we can have positive 4x4 engagement that wont leave us stranded.
For suspension we are running a set of 0" Lift custom springs up front to get an amazing on road ride and awesome off road flex. We used a shackle flip in the rear to keep the stock tow rated springs for hauling trailers.
We are running our crossover steering with ORD Custom hydro assit connected to our HD tie rod. This offers one finger steering on the road and great control off road.
For stopping power we are running our extended braided stainless steel brake line kit and disc brake swap in the rear.
For tire clearance we moved the windshield wash bottle from the fender well to inside the engine bay. On this truck we unhooked the ABS system but there are aftermarket relucter wheel availble to keep that in working order.
