Our sway bar kit for the 1973-1987 GM trucks/suvs bolts into your stock mounts and leaf spring plates and will clear crossover steering.
These kits are super easy to install:
We have a special pin that bolts into your stock spring plates
The new sway bar mounts to your frame the same way the stock one did
These collars (below) are used inside the mounts (see above) to help minimize lateral movement.
These brackets connect to the bolt on your bump stop and will be used as a hold up for the disconnected sway bar.
Have your axle moved from the stock location? No problem, our swaybar has multiple mounting positions.
*Note: If you are using the non-diconnectable version of the kit some of the pieces will be different.
Our disconnectable sway bar ends can handle a lot of angularity with their special bushings, plus they are greaseable!
Our swaybar has a rust preventative finish, some scuffs may be present from shipping.
Below is the orientation of assembly for disconnectable links:
If you no longer have stock U-Bolt plates we have some weld on bungs to use the sway bar:
We do sell spring plates with the threaded bungs already welded on if you have a GM D60
NOTE: THIS KIT DOES NOT WORK WITH STOCK PUSH PULL STEERING
